Toucan Whisper, Toucan Sing

Praise "I enjoyed reading this story about how one brother would do anything to take care of his younger brother. I love mysteries and the way the author developed the story was very interesting and I felt like I was always at the edge of my seat. There’s a good amount of romance involved, and it’s incorporated well. Would recommend!" - Amazon Customer, 5 star review |
ABOUT THE BOOK
Toucan Whisper, Toucan Sing is the story of two brothers, one a gregarious gigolo, the other a mute psychopath who loves nature. Both work at a resort hotel, as does Lyria, betrothed to the joyous one yet drawn to the silent one. In the tangle is a murder on the beach and extrication, Mexican style.
With glittering potential sullied, along with betrothal, Lyria is compelled to alliance with the “older woman” so fervently in need of Antonio’s effusing attention. Baldo takes solace in the company of his young charges, the baby turtles, for whom his love is paramount.
Further assistance comes from Viorica Valenzuela, a lesbian madame offering a future more secure than anything Lyria could have hoped for.
Antonio is tapped for stardom by the elder woman’s husband and his lawyer friend—he will be the beachside manager at the all new and much better resort going up next door.
This tale of love and practical romance in a coastal resort hotel blends tradition and ambition as they currently vie in modern Mexico. In the balance are the passions of the heart, for survival and what is held most dear.
